Is traditional therapy just not cutting it anymore?

You’ve done the work. You’ve learned the skills. But something is still holding you back.

You don’t have the time to devote to weekly therapy sessions

EMDR intensives support the busy women with a family, the working professional who juggles all the demands and responsibilities of leading a team and you don’t want to spend months in the traditional weekly model of therapy to feel better.

You’re seeking deeper, more concentrated healing

EMDR intensives are focused, condensed therapy sessions. Several sessions are combined into one extended experience for increased effectiveness without needing weekly therapy sessions.

You’re in the right place.

EMDR intensives can help you accomplish in one session what may take months in traditional therapy.

What is an EMDR intensive?

An EMDR Intensive is a powerful, accelerated form of trauma therapy designed to help you process emotional pain deeply and efficiently—without needing months of weekly sessions.

Think: hours of focused healing in just 1-3 days.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven method for helping your brain "reprocess" stuck memories and stress responses. In an intensive format, you’ll work with a trained therapist in longer, structured sessions—customized for your specific goals.

…an EMDR Intensive gives you the space, time, and guidance to move forward—faster.

Perfect for busy women who: ✅ Want results without committing to weekly therapy
✅ Prefer deep, focused work in a short window
✅ Need flexibility around career, parenting, or travel
✅ Are ready for lasting change—not just coping

Your healing doesn’t have to wait.
Take one weekend for yourself—and gain back your clarity, calm, and confidence.

Resolve deep wounds

EMDR therapy can help you work through your trauma (emotional pain) and find relief, addressing both the mind and body so deep healing occurs.

Experience accelerated healing

Imagine what could happen if you prioritize your healing journey by dedicating the space and time to do the work.

Overcome obstacles that are keeping you “stuck”

Regulation is how we support our nervous system to come back into the here and now, where we feel grounded, safe, strong, curious, “here,” and capable.

Find the healing you’ve been seeking.

Other intensive questions? I’ve got answers.

  • EMDR helps to process trauma and memories that are “stuck” in your body and are affecting your nervous system.

EMDR helps our brain reduce distress linked to the memory. Helping us feel acceptance, develop a sense of safety, regulate our nervous system and hold new beliefs about ourselves.

  • 1. Focused Time vs. Weekly Sessions
In traditional therapy, sessions are typically 50–60 minutes once a week. EMDR Intensives offer longer blocks of time—often 3 hours or even full days—so you can go deeper without the constant stop-and-start.

    2. Faster Progress
Because we’re not spreading the work over weeks or months, many clients experience significant relief and breakthroughs in just 1–3 intensive sessions—what might otherwise take months of weekly therapy.

    3. Personalized and Goal-Oriented
Intensives are custom-tailored to your unique needs and goals. We spend intentional time up front (in a pre-intensive assessment) to map out exactly what you want to focus on—no generic treatment plans here.

  • You might be a great fit for an EMDR Intensive if:

You’re ready to focus on a specific issue
Maybe it’s a past trauma, recurring trigger, a breakup, burnout, or a stuck emotional pattern. Intensives are ideal for people who want to work through something with depth and direction.

You’re short on time, but serious about healing
If weekly therapy just doesn’t fit your schedule—or feels too slow—an Intensive offers accelerated progress in a concentrated window (usually 1–3 days).

You’ve done therapy before, but feel stuck
Many clients turn to Intensives after hitting a plateau in talk therapy. EMDR helps process the deeper layers that conversation alone can’t always reach.

You feel emotionally stable and supported
You don’t need to be “perfect” (no one is!), but Intensives work best if you’re not in immediate crisis, and you have some coping tools or support systems in place.

You’re motivated and open to going deeper
This is your time. Your space. If you’re feeling the pull to finally deal with “that thing” you’ve been carrying—this could be your moment.

Not sure? Let’s talk. The Pre-Intensive Assessment Session is designed to help us decide together if an EMDR Intensive is the right path for you—and if now is the right time.

Your healing doesn’t have to be slow. You just have to take the first step.

  • EMDR Intensives are designed to help you process painful or unresolved experiences—quickly and effectively. Whether it’s one major event or a pattern that’s holding you back, Intensives give you the time and space to do deep healing in a focused way.

Here are some of the most common issues clients bring to EMDR Intensives:

    🔹 Trauma & PTSD

    • Single-event trauma (car accident, medical emergency, assault)

    • Childhood trauma or neglect

    • Emotional, physical, or sexual abuse

    • Complex or developmental trauma

    🔹 Anxiety & Overwhelm

    • Generalized anxiety or worry

    • Panic attacks or phobias

    • Work-related stress and burnout

    • Perfectionism or people-pleasing patterns

  • Great news: You don’t need to “get it all together” before coming to an EMDR Intensive. That’s what the process is for. But there are a few simple, supportive steps we’ll take to make sure you feel safe, ready, and set up for success.

    1. Pre-Intensive Assessment (90 minutes)

We’ll meet for a dedicated session to:

    • Clarify what you want to focus on

    • Review your history and current supports

    • Make sure EMDR is the right fit for you

    • Build out a personalized plan for your Intensive

This session helps us both feel clear and confident before diving into deeper work.

    2. Intake Paperwork

You’ll complete a few short forms about your background, goals, and emotional safety. These give me a fuller picture of you and help guide our time together.

    3. Emotional Preparation

You don’t need to rehearse your trauma or have perfect insight—but it can help to start reflecting on:

    • What’s been weighing on you the most

    • What patterns or experiences feel unresolved

    • What you hope will feel different after this work

We’ll go at your pace. You’re never expected to share more than you’re comfortable with.

    4. Logistics & Self-Care Planning

Because this is deep, focused work, I’ll also guide you through:

    • Setting aside time for rest before and after the intensive

    • Creating a self-care and support plan

    • Making sure your environment is calm and private, if virtual

You don’t have to be “ready”—just willing.
I’ll support you every step of the way. This isn’t about pushing yourself—it’s about creating the space for healing that’s been waiting for you.
