Anxiety therapy for Jensen Beach women who are tired of white-knuckling it
Most anxious women I meet have already tried hard to fix it on their own. They’ve read the books, downloaded the breathing apps and told themselves to calm down. Those tools help, but when anxiety is tied to earlier experiences, coping skills can feel like bailing water from a boat with a leak. Therapy with me blends CBT, emotional-regulation skills and body-based work so you learn to recognize your own warning signs early. My anxiety therapy page goes deeper.
We also look at the bigger picture. Anxiety often travels with perfectionism, burnout, low mood or a sense that you’ve lost yourself somewhere between caring for everyone else and keeping up at work. Panic attacks and specific phobias are common too. Whatever form it takes for you, the aim is the same: to widen your window of tolerance so stress feels manageable instead of overwhelming. That window is a concept I teach early on, because once you can see it, you can start to work with it.
